Article By Geoff on Feb 18, 2004

While Kitto fans wait in anticipation for the Melbourne born rocker's second album Precious Junk, they can get into the feel of this up and coming album with the grungy pop sound of the first single from the album called Catalina Dreaming.

Catalina Dreaming was co-written by Aussie author Andrew McMillan after she read his book of the same name about RAAF flying boat operations in the second world war.

Catalina Dreaming is a fast catchy grungy rock song which has that indie feel through and through. The music and lyrics in this song are great and work together making it a fine example of Kitto's co-writing ability and musicianship.

Second on this single is a slower yet still as indie track called Girl Who Said No.

The single is a good one to wet your appetite while waiting for the next album and going from the songs on Catalina Dreaming the album should sound hot.
